This offseason has seen significant changes in the NHL, including a shift to Fanatics as the new producer for NHL jerseys, leading to fan dissatisfaction.

The NHL, under Gary Bettman's leadership, opted for Fanatics to design and produce their jerseys and merchandise for the upcoming season.
However, Fanatics has a history of producing lower-quality items, as evidenced by their recent work with Major League Baseball (MLB).
It's sort of impressive just how bad the new MLB jerseys are through Nike/Fanatics.
With Fanatics now handling NHL apparel, complaints have surfaced. One notable issue involves a fan who purchased a Steven Stamkos jersey from the new Nashville Predators lineup.

NHL fan shocked by Fanatics after receiving subpar Steven Stamkos jersey

This summer, Steven Stamkos concluded his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning and signed with the Nashville Predators on July 1st, joining a notable free agent class that includes Jonathan Marchessault and Brady Skjei.
Breaking: The Predators are adding star forward Steven Stamkos, former Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Marchessault and Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brady Skjei.
The acquisition of high-profile players typically boosts jersey sales. A fan who bought a new Nashville Predators jersey featuring Stamkos was dismayed by the poor quality of the item received from Fanatics.
I've never seen a company give less of a s*** about quality control than @Fanatics. The major pro sports leagues are part of the problem too as they take the money and go with them. The disrespect to the fans that pay hard earned money for merchandise is truly shocking.

This incident highlights Fanatics' ongoing failure to deliver quality products. As the NHL season nears, it is crucial for the NHL and Gary Bettman to address these concerns with Fanatics to ensure that such issues are resolved before the season begins.
