Vegas Golden Knights announce more roster transactions ahead of regular season

The Golden Knights have reduced their roster in anticipation of the regular season by assigning three roster hopefuls back to their respective teams.

General Manager Kelly McCrimmon of the Vegas Golden Knights announced that Akira Schmid, Robert Hagg, and forward Mason Morelli have been assigned to the Henderson Silver Knights for the start of the upcoming season.
The Henderson Silver Knights has also been assigned the ten players who were called up for the team's Tuesday night game in Colorado.
The Vegas Golden Knights are coming off a strong win against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, in Denver. They led the Avalanche 2-1 at the start of the second period thanks to goals from Tanner Pearson and Brendan Brisson. Zach Aston-Reese's lone goal in the secon period gave the Golden Knights a 3-1 lead. Joe Fleming, Aston-Reese, and Tanner Laczynski scored in the last period to give Vegas a 6-1 lead. Akira Schmid, the goalie, put on a solid display, stopping 27 of 28 shots.
The 26 players remaining from the roster for training camp are listed below.

The Golden Knights held a warm up for their next preseason game at T-Mobile Arena by practicing at City National Arena at 11:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday.
Preseason action between Vegas and the Avalanche will resume on Thursday at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena. There will be collectible William Karlsson pins for every fan in attendance.
