Mitch Marner connected to two of his previous GMs

We're going to see a lot of speculations since everyone is curious about what will happen in Toronto with Mitch Marner and the Core Four's future.

Numerous clubs, including the Pittsburgh Penguins and the New York Islanders, managed by former Leafs general managers Kyle Dubas and Lou Lamoriello, may be interested in signing him, according to a recent report.

Not only is Marner a skilled player, but he also makes a great addition to your locker room. Those who worked closely with him are the best ones to recognize his abilities and contributions.

For years, the Islanders have needed to bolster their starting six with more talent. Marner may be the component that's been missing to help them win the Stanley Cup.

Surprisingly, despite significant changes made last summer, the Penguins have not made it into the playoffs this season. Dubas will need to support Crosby, Malkin, and Letang by bringing in quality players if they hope to win one final Stanley Cup.

The Isles and the Pens may be in a strong position to strike a deal for Marner since Brad Treliving and the Leafs are in the market for elite defenseman.
