A new trade proposal emerged that could reunite the Tanev brothers, Chris and Brandon, with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It hasn't been a secret that the Maple Leafs' bottom six has been an issue on Craig Berube's lineup this season. One of the players who was expected to play a big role in the lower lines' success, Nick Robertson, has been struggling, with only one point in 16 games.
With Ryan Reaves' suspension, the Maple Leafs decided to call up the prospect Fraser Minten from the Marlies in the AHL, in what could turn out to be a great move to boost the bottom six.
However, despite this new development, trade proposals to bolster the Leafs' third and fourth lines continue to emerge.
We found a recent proposal that could be realistic and could fix the Leafs' depth issues and we think fans will like it.
According to a new report, a deal between the Maple Leafs and the Seattle Kraken has been suggested to reunite the Tanev brothers on the same team for the first time in their NHL career.
Check it out:
"Maple Leafs acquire:

Brandon Tanev ($1.8 million retained)

Kraken acquire:

David Kampf
Alex Steeves
2025 second-round pick (Florida's)"

While they would need to part ways with Alex Steeves, one of their best AHL players, and David Kampf, a reliable center (who's currently injured), acquiring Tanev would be beneficial for Toronto.
General Manager Brad Treliving made a great move by signing the defenseman Chris Tanev over the summer. Since joining the Leafs, Tanev has been great at defending and is bringing a lot of energy to the lineup.
Just like his brother, Brandon is also an energy-maker. He delivers strong hits and plays a physical game that surely attracts Treliving.
This season, in Seattle, the forward tallies eight points, including five goals, in 19 games, which isn't bad for a limited third-line role.
It'll be interesting to see what Treliving decides to do in the coming months to help his team on the ice. While Brandon Tanev wouldn't necessarily be a game-changing addition, it could bring a lot to the Leafs who are also looking at players that can bring a positive attitude to the locker room.
