Sidney Crosby's next contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins revealed
A very well known Penguins insider released some information as to what Sid's next contract will look like.
Although Crosby's next contract isn't up until the end of next season, both Penguins fans and management are eager to get an extension signed to lock him up. Rob Rossi of the Athletic recently revealed what Sid's next contract may look like.
Rossi claims that the Penguins superstar is likely looking at a 3-year, $30 Million contract.
One fan on X had a hilarious response to this news:
Sidney Crosby can ask for $25M AAV for 8 years and I wouldn't even hesitate to give it to him. He also stated that the Penguins are ready to sign Sid to a short term extension very soon, so it's looking like an extension will get done this summer and Sid will remain a Penguin.
Crosby turns 37 this summer, but after the fantastic showing he had this season, there is little doubt that he is still one of the more dominant players in the league.
More to come.
