Despite the Pittsburgh Penguins turning things around in recent times, rumours have persisted around captain Sidney Crosby, despite GM Kyle Dubas insisting that he had no interest in moving on from the captain.
However, that hasn't stopped the speculation, with the newest piece of information coming from his former teammate Georges Laraque, who suggests Crosby to Montreal as 'not as impossible as it seems'.
While it's definitely an intriguing idea, the Penguins are back in the Stanley Cup hunt, and unless No. 87 specifically asks for a trade, there would be no reason for Dubas to force one upon him.
It may be cool to see Crosby in arguably the NHL's best ever market and team, especially in his home country of Canada, but for now, it's safe to say that Canadiens fans shouldn't get their hopes up as a result of this comment from Laraque.
