After a red-hot off-season where they added several big name stars, many expected the Nashville Predators to be a Stanley Cup contender this season, but unfortunately their lack of depth has come back to haunt them as they currently sit in last place in the Western Conference.
That's led to discussions around the NHL that they could be looking to sell off some of their valuable players, but now General Manager Barry Trotz has completely shut that idea down.
That comes on the back of the team's move to land Justin Barron on Wednesday, whom Trotz revealed the team had been coveting for quite some time.
With a 9-17-6 record through 32 games played, the Predators have been much worse than anyone could have ever expected, but with a host of veteran stars leading the way, Trotz still believes this team can compete in 2024/25.
