Noel Acciari's suspension was confirmed by reporter Eric Engels following his dirty hit on Juraj Slafkovsky during a game last night.

Thanks to two goals from Sidney Crosby, the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-1 yesterday. The Habs sadly dropped to eighth place in the Atlantic Division with a 4-7-1 record after this, their third consecutive defeat.
"In hockey that's a dirty hit. We all know what's happening, two guys are racing for the puck, they are both reaching, and the guy who is supposed to get the puck first just leaves it and hits the guy. That is a bit of a dirty hit."

In breaking news, Eric Engels of Sportsnet disclosed that Acciari will not face additional disciplinary action from the NHL's Department of Player Safety for the hit:
The Habs lineup has been plagued by injuries once more this season. Due to his health, Juraj Slafkovsky, who has already missed three games this season, may be sidelined once more. Fans have grown weary of watching the team lose due to the absence of important players, especially with Kaiden Guhle missing multiple games and Patrik Laine on the injury reserve since the preseason.
In addition to criticizing Acciari's hit, Bieksa expressed his worries about the Canadiens. He even claimed that Montreal's rebuild was "regressing." Hopefully the Montreal Canadiens can turn things around before they begin to implode.
